Directions:
For the fourth art project, I want you to use what you have learned about drawing techniques to create an underwater landscape.
Outline the image, filling up your paper. You should have at least 3 different sea creatures in the image (turtle, shark, octopus, fish, crab, dolphin, etc.). Then, create a landscape around them to fill up the rest of the space (ocean floor, coral reef, seaweed, caves, etc.).
Your finished drawing should look like a colorful underwater scene!
Materials Needed:
1. Blank white paper (8.5x11 computer paper or 8x10 sketchbook paper)
2. Coloring materials (colored pencil, markers, etc.)
Due dates:
Your pencil sketch picture is due on April 28
Your finished and colored drawing is due on May 5

Project 3 - Cubism Drawing
Directions:
For the third art project, you can draw whatever you want! It could be your favorite cartoon character, an object, or even yourself!
Outline the image, filling up your paper. Draw at least 12 lines going through the entire picture. The lines should go all different directions. They can be straight lines, curvy lines, or zig zag lines. Color in each shape that is created with a different color (kind of like a puzzle!). Try not to put two of the same color next to each other.
Your finished drawing should look like cubist artwork from the online content!
Materials Needed:
1. Blank white paper (8.5x11 computer paper or 8x10 sketchbook paper)
2. Coloring materials (colored pencil, markers, etc.)
3. Ruler
Due dates:

Zentangle Ideas:
For your second project, I would like you to show what you learned about landscapes by drawing any landscape you choose, including a foreground (things close up, like flowers or trees), middle ground (things in the middle), and background (things far away, like the sky).
Outline the shapes in your landscape first. Then, fill in half of the shapes you have with Zentangles (line designs, patterns, etc. with your black sharpie or marker). See the Zentangle ideas below.
Lastly, color the rest of your landscape shapes with your coloring material (be creative!) Be sure to fill up your paper space and draw as best as you can.
Materials needed:
1. Blank white paper (8.5x11 computer paper, or 8x10 sketchbook paper)
2. Coloring materials (colored pencils, markers, etc.)
3. Black marker or pen
Due Dates:
